Guneet Banga is an Executive Director at The Caravel Group, a Hong Kong-based diversified conglomerate with three key areas of business: maritime, commodities and investment management. He is an active proponent of conscious capitalism, which guides his investment approach in impact and sustainability start-up ventures that focus on climate change solutions and mitigation technologies. In 2022, Guneet established Caravel Sustainable Investments, a dedicated vehicle for the Group’s investment management activities focused on impact, ESG and sustainable investing. Guneet is a World Economic Forum Impact Circle member, on the Board of the Sustainable Finance Initiative and participates on the Corporate VC Working Group of the Global Impact Investing Network. In 2023 he received the ‘Global Visionary – Impact & Sustainability’ award by the Vision World Academy in India.
