Ada is the Partner in the tax services practice, focusing on business tax services, based in Hong
Kong. She has more than 14 years experience in providing Hong Kong and Australia tax compliance
and advisory services to multinational, local corporations and entrepreneurial as well as non-profit
organization.

Ada is also leading the Global Incentives and Location Services in Greater China. She assists clients
in the area of site selection and identify the business incentives to help identify optimal locations,
secure and realize maximum savings for both tax and non-tax incentives, create operational
efficiencies that reduce project costs associated with employment growth and capital expenditures.

Prior to joining EY Hong Kong, Ada has served as a tax advisor to a range of clients from large
multinational public companies to mid-size private companies in Australia.

Ada has extensive experience in principal and global structuring planning, trust and family office
advice, IPO review, inbound and outbound investments, supply chain management, business
integration and reorganization, operation review, offshore claim exercise and intellectual property
licensing and planning.

Specifically, the majority of Ada’s experiences focuses on:

assisting companies with the business discussion, both at the C-suite and tax leadership level,
to develop the right strategy across the co-sourcing continuum. Based on a company’s unique
drivers, she helps to develop a tax operating model strategy that leverages a best in class and
a best in cost approach which is needed to navigate challenges they face;

Helping clients integrate large multi-national acquisitions in a tax-efficient manner; and

Restructuring, pre-and post-acquisition IP ownership and supply chain strategies, all the way
down to reporting and compliance.

Her client portfolio comprises of a wide range of clients (i.e. entrepreneurial, UNWI and families) and
industries including consumer products, trading and sourcing, construction, property development,
logistic, technology, entertainment and media, telecommunication as well as hospitality.

Ada contributes tax technical articles to newspapers and technical journals as well as a frequent
speaker at tax seminars organized by various professional bodies in Hong Kong.
